A short walk from the Clays Cafe, Winans features three bays with covered firing points allowing for shooting from 5-25 metres in a range of calibres.

Both bays A and B of this No Danger Area range have regulations allowing for rifles, pistols, airguns and shotguns.

Bay A provides two banks of 5 turning targets while Bay B provides 6 static target lanes. Bay B additionally contains an HV canopy and rubber granulate trap.

Bay A – 10 turning targets (2 x banks of 5)
Bay B – 6 static target lanes
Bay C (Zero Range) – 4 static target lanes at 71’ 7” for primary use of zeroing

BAY A
- Shotguns permitted: 12 -32 bore (including .410 bore)
- Hard targets: No4 or smaller shot
- Frangible targets: SG or smaller shot
BAY B
- Shotguns permitted: Solid Slug only
- Bay B contains a HV canopy and rubber granulate trap

Opening Times

The Ranges are open every day except for Mondays. Start and end times are signalled by
the hooter. Bay C (Zero Range) is open from 0800 and only closes during the lunch back from 1230 – 1245. The times vary as follows:
