Open every day except for Mondays which is a Range maintenance day.
Please note, range office & Armoury tills are only open until 15 minutes after shooting.

Start and end times are signalled by the hooter – The times vary as follows:

LOW SEASON

Follows British Summer Time Dates

TUE-FRI
08:30am to 12:30pm / 1:30pm to 4:00pm
(dependent on light)

SAT-SUN
08:30am to 12:30pm / 1:30pm to 4:00pm
(dependent on light)

High Season

Follows British Summer Time Dates

TUE-FRI
08:30am to 12:30pm / 1:30pm to 4:30pm

SAT-SUN
08:30am to 12:30pm / 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Visitors Permits

These documents are issued by the Police in the part of the UK you wish to visit, though your permit can be extended by the issuing Police Force to be valid in multiple locations. A Permit can be valid for up to a year.

Parking

Parking is available outside the main office, The Pavilion and on all ranges. We also have a limited amount of disabled parking at each location for easier access.

Road Safety

Road Safety is important to us and all visitors to the National Shooting Centre, so we ask that all visitors follow the below rules when driving on site.

  • Please, abide to the 15mph speed limit on camp and conform to one-way systems.
  • Please, park in designated car parks only and do not drive on verges.
  • Please, do not drive on the range floor or firing points unless authorised to do so.

WiFi

During your visit, you can make use of the free wireless internet connection - current primary coverage is within the blue circle.

Add the connection “NRA-Guest-WiFi” when visiting.

Access to the connection is free of charge, and does not currently require a voucher.

The connection is also available in the following areas at Bisley

  • Melville Range
  • Stickledown Range (900 to 1200 yard firing points)
  • Clays
